We want our children to be part of a community where they can grow up safely and express themselves freely, where friendships can be nurtured, and they can develop their talents in a place where they feel secure and that they belong, and where – most importantly – they meet with Jesus. At our onsite Sunday services, children stay in the main hall for worship before going to their groups, ROOTS, SHOOTS and FRUITS for age-appropriate activities and prayers.
Vineyard Youth is all about having Fun, exploring our Faith, and developing lasting Friendships for years 7–13.
We run Ty for our younger youth (years 7–9) on Sunday mornings after the worship. Ty is a transitional group helping them move from Young Vineyard to Youth.
The older youth (years 10–13) meet on Sunday evenings (7:30pm–9pm) at one of the leaders' homes. We have social gatherings from time to time. If you want to know more, please CONTACT US.

Sensory Space
As a church we recognise the neurodiversity of our young people, who may require a lower sensory stimulating or quieter environment to experience worship, in response we have introduced our sensory tent on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, this is located at the rear of the main hall and is equipped with a variety of fidget items to support our various neurodiverse young people’s conditions.
These young people are welcome to bring their own ear defenders if this is a part of their usual practice, during worship; a member of our youth team oversees this facility.

- Providing a safe and healthy environment where the children/young people can develop their relationship with and awareness of God.
- Ensuring that the children/young people are not subject to any form of abuse (verbal, physical, emotional or sexual) within the church environment.
- Ensuring that where instances of abuse are discovered the appropriate forms of action are undertaken.
- Implementing a procedure to validate workers before they are allowed to work with the children/young people.
- Providing workers with training opportunities to help them undertake their role.
